If you have had a break from driving or your confidence has dipped, our refresher lessons help you get back on the road feeling calm and capable. Sessions are tailored to what you need, whether that is parking, roundabouts, busy junctions, motorway driving or getting used to modern traffic again.

Pricing
Manual and automatic lessons share the same prices. Hourly equivalents are shown for standard and daytime lessons.
Manual and automatic lesson prices are the same.
Standard Lesson:
Equivalent to £40 per hour.
For lessons starting after 5pm weekdays and all weekend.
Daytime Discount:
Equivalent to £38 per hour.
For lessons starting before 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Standard 10-hour Block Booking:
Lessons starting after 5pm weekdays and all weekend. Save £10 compared with paying for 10 hours at the standard rate. Paid in full up front.
Daytime 10-hour Block Booking:
Lessons starting before 5pm, Monday to Friday. Save £10 compared with paying for 10 daytime hours. Paid in full up front.
Further Discounts:
Sometimes we have trainee driving instructors who have passed their first two exams, completed extensive training and are working towards their third and final exam. They are licensed to teach. Lessons with a trainee driving instructor receive a further £3 discount for each 90-minute lesson, subject to suitability and availability.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many refresher lessons will I need?
Usually just a handful. We will assess where you need to focus in the first session and tailor a plan from there.
I passed years ago but have not driven since - can you help?
Absolutely. This is one of the most common reasons people come to us for refreshers. We will build your confidence back up at your own pace.
Can I use refresher lessons to prepare for a specific route?
Yes. If you are anxious about a particular type of road or manoeuvre, we can focus entirely on that.
Will I need to retake my driving test?
No. If you already hold a valid driving licence, refresher lessons are simply extra tuition to help you feel safer and more confident. You do not need to retake your test just because you have not driven for a while.
Can refresher lessons help after an accident?
Yes. If an accident, near miss or difficult driving experience has knocked your confidence, we can work at your pace and focus on the situations that now feel uncomfortable.
Can I book just one refresher lesson?
Yes. You do not need to commit to a block. Many drivers start with one session and then decide whether they would benefit from more.
